The GWM Ute has a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine under the bonnet. According to the manual, GWM says the diesel mill pumps out 120kW of power (at 3600rpm) and 400Nm of torque (from 1500-2500rpm). Now, we know, those stats are below most rivals in the mainstream ute scene, but in practice the ute performs well over par.
